Technical features
Reinforced structure
The carcass has been developed to best handle the weight and typical power delivery of the Komodo, ensuring stability under hard braking and cornering support even at low pressures.
High-footprint evolved profile
The tread pattern features progressive knobs with spacing designed to improve self-cleaning and grip on mud, hard-packed soil, and gravel. The front prioritizes steering and feel, while the rear maximizes traction under acceleration.
Optimized technical section
Although the marked sizes are 70/100-21 and 90/100-18, the construction design uses larger structural volumes and proportions. Once fitted and in use, the tire delivers an effective section comparable to:
- Front: about 90/90-21
- Rear: about 110/90-18
This design choice provides a wider contact patch and greater lateral stability, improving absorption and control without altering the dynamic balance for which the Komodo was developed.
Main benefits
- Greater actual contact surface
- Superior traction on corner exit
- More precise front-end turn-in
- Better absorption of bumps
- A fuller, more stable riding feel
The result is a tire that enhances the Komodo’s off-road spirit, delivering a safer, more responsive, and higher-performing ride in every condition.
Please note that VOLAR SPORT knobby tires do not carry CE marking.
